The association of bars and restaurants Restauración Mallorca has signed a collaboration agreement with the municipal company Calvià 2000. The objective of this is to improve and make more efficient the management of the waste collection system in the first lines of the tourist areas of the municipality.

This initiative contemplates, among others, the carrying out of information campaigns among commercial and restaurant establishments or the collection of opinions before, during and after the tourist season. In addition, special interest will be put in compliance with the municipal waste collection and cleaning ordinance among the partners of Restauración Mallorca.

Public and private sector, united by selective collection

The new agreement was signed by the president of Restauración, Antonio Robledo, that of Acotur José Tirado, and the manager of Calvià 2000, Javier González Ruiz. The president of the public company, Deputy Mayor Marcos Pecos, was also present. With this signature, the work that the public and private sectors have been developing jointly since 2016 to optimize the collection of cardboard and glass in the most tourist areas will continue.
